Celebrating Winter in Eldorath

Today we're going to share some of the festivals, events and encounters that both the players and the staff team are running throughout Winter. Happy Holiday's everyone!

All dates and times mentioned below are in EST timezone. Use this website to convert EST to your local timezone.

If you're running a Winter themed festival or event and would like to be mentioned in this post, please DM ConstructorLeo on Discord!

Primeshire Winter Festival

The Winter Festival has made its way to the Primshire festival grounds! There are plenty of activities for your character to attend throughout the festival and participating in, and winning activities can earn you Snowflake Tokens! These tokens can be spent at the Winter shop NPC for special items such as roleplay trinkets, festive foods and a CRP item.

Alongside the activities, there are 22 player-ran stalls and Nation stalls on the festival grounds for you to check out!

This staff-ran festival lasts 4 days. There are two time slots when most activities will be running throughout the festival:

  • Time Slot A: 7 AM EST to 11 AM EST
  • Time Slot B: 5 PM EST to 9 PM EST

Check out the info card below to see what activities will be running throughout the Winter Festival.

Assault on the Frozen Asylum
Burred in endless snow and jagged ice peaks lies a forgotten Frozen Asylum and still howls in the cold.

Once a bright beacon of hope and family for many, now, time and the cold has overtaken this house, degrading it to a shell of its former glory. Yet frozen in the cold, there remains trouble and danger for all that approach.

Step forth and explore, learn the past of the mysterious demise of the Frozen Asylum. Discover the tragedy of the past and confront the echoes that refuse to rest. Quell what remains of a troubled past, or allow it to persist unchecked.

This limited time, Lore-ran quest and dungeon will be available starting December 20th EST during the Winter Festival and it'll be gone sometime after the New Year! While we won't spoil too much of this quest and dungeon, we'd like to mention that the dungeon-part is intended for PvE combat, this is not a CRP dungeon.

For those that prefer CRP, we are currently working on a CRP focused dungeon for a different storyline! Even if CRP is your preference, the Frozen Asylum is rich in roleplay, so we encourage you to give it a try.

Fin'Nathri; The Crystalline Stage

The Crystalline Stage is a public player-ran winter talent showcase held on Fin'Nathri's new coastal festival grounds. The stage is built into a frozen towering silver-elven tree. This is a roleplay-first event celebrating creativity and character expression, welcoming performers and spectators from across Eldorath to gather, watch, and interact in-character.

The Crystalline Stage will run across two days to accomodate regions. Both days feature the same talent showcase format, with performers eligible to win prizes based on audience voting!

  • 27th December, 7 PM EST (NA)
  • 28th December, 2 PM EST (EU)

Participation is open to everyone:

  • Participants may showcase: music, poetry, storytelling, magic displays, comedy, dance, combat or weapon demonstrations and other character-driven acts.
  • Performances will be conducted in-game and/or through proximity voice chat.
  • Audience voting to determine prize-winning performers!
  • Open social roleplay before, during, and after performances on the festival grounds.

Thornridge's Moonlit Fare

The Moonlit Fare is a player-ran festival that Thornridge holds to celebrate the Welcoming of Winter! During the festival, your character will participate in making lanterns of cloth and sticks, with a candle in the middle and silently put their hopes for the coming year before letting it float off, watching the sky light up with the lanterns others have made.

The Moonlit Fare occurs December 20th at 4 PM EST! Coordinates to Thornridge are: x: -2900, y: 3460
