Hey everyone, today we're really excited to release the Lore Feats update! You'll now be able to use Lore Feats, the Feats Tracker and Teacher Applications directly on the server.

A feat is a lore piece that grants the character learning it a significant increase in strength and knowlege! A character has a total of 5 Feat slots, this represents their physical and mental capacity. A feat may cost either 1 or 2 feat slots, depending on its strength and complexity.
Feats come in a variety of shapes and sizes. They may give you new strengths or weakness', however no matter what feat you choose there will be new tools gained to enhance and flavor your roleplay.
Currently Available Feats:
- Runewalking
- Arts of War
- Scarlet Curse
- Vestigial Rebirth
- Astrology
- The Withering Disease
- ...more to come!
You'll notice some of these feats are for entirely new pieces of lore! There's lots of new roleplay opportunities awaiting you with this update.
Feat NPCs can be found at important Lore locations all throughout Eldorath! They will reveal common information regarding a specific feat that can be used in-character. For example, Hellebore is an NPC for the Withering Disease who is found somewhere in Nights Edge. Or, Evermoore, Astrology NPC, can be found at Lookout Loop near the Observatory.
We don't have an NPC for Runewalking yet, but it will be coming in the next few days!
Magics are not included in the feats system as we have future plans to put them into their own system that is similar to feats! When we do, they will have their own magic tracker and will not share slots with feat slots, instead they'll have their own magic slots.
You can access your feats using the Feats Tracker. While in-game, you can use /feats to access the tracker. The tracker will show you all relevant information about feats, as well as in-character information about your progress in a feat and which slots are occupied!
A TA, or Teacher Application, is a process one may go through to teach other players Feats. Having an approved TA means that the Lore Team believes you are confident in your knowledge of the lore, and are of trustworthy character. This ensures that lore remains something you earned through unique roleplay experiences.
TA's are an attempt to place trust and responsibility in the players hands. The goal is to create a mutually beneficial system, easing some of the workload off of Lore Team by allowing player progression to occur without lore team being present every step of the way while also increasing how many opportunities occur to gain significant progress at the same time!

A special thanks to graveyard_bones, for kicking off the Feats systems creation.
