Observation Report
⋇⋆✦⋆⋇
Log 1, 1433. ~ Following the recent expansion of the mist, there had been little cause for concern regarding the large, lava filled crater situated at the region's North Eastern edge. Historical Records and Local Accounts had suggested the volcano remained dormant for generations, long preceding our settlement of these lands. Until now, it exhibited no measurable signs of geothermal instability.
⋇⋆✦⋆⋇
Log 2, 1433. ~ This perceived dormancy was interrupted by an unexpected tremor that reverberated across the surrounding terrain.. Possibly further. As more accounts from civilians pour in, we will update its readings. Though the seismic event was minor in magnitude, it incited widespread alarm among the populace due to its sudden and unannounced nature.
⋇⋆✦⋆⋇
Log 3, 1433. ~ Of greater concern is the subsequent awakening of the volcano itself. Preliminary observations indicate renewed magmatic movement, suggesting that this incident may mark the initial stages of reactivation. Further study is required, but I am left to wonder.. Was this a singular disturbance, or merely a harbinger of a more significant upheaval to come?

Log 4, 1433. ~ In an effort to advance our understanding of the recent volcanic stirring, a multidisciplinary team from the Adventurer’s Guild, compromising members from various departments and subdivisions, has established a provisional outpost along the rim of the crater. While some may view this response as disproportionate to the relatively minor seismic event observed, historical precedent compels us to act with caution. The last time minor trembles rippled across the land, an unforeseen meteor impact devastated Primshire. We have since learned the value of vigilance.
~ At present, the outpost includes several essential facilities:
- A primary Guild tent equipped with a notice board for coordination and public updates,
- A banking station to facilitate secure transactions for those stationed at or visiting the sight,
- A medical tent, prepared to handle potential injuries related to geothermal exposure,
- A temporary library, open to citizens seeking access to our ongoing findings,
- And a designated research tent for data collections and analysis.
~ Additional infrastructure is under consideration as the situation evolves. While the extent of the threat remains uncertain, we believe it prudent to err on the side of preparedness rather than regret.

Log 5, 1433. ~ Despite the considerate resources currently allocated at the outpost, the scale of the mystery unfolding before us exceeds our present capabilities. As such, we have resolved to extend an official call for aid to the most capable adventurers across Eldorath. Expedition requests will be posted publicly on the notice board within the central Guild tent. Those who undertake these tasks will be duly compensated for their efforts. In accordance with Guild protocol.
~ Additionally, a submission repository has been established within the library tent. Here, adventurers may contribute their personal findings, research notes, or artifacts recovered from the crater and its surrounding terrain, Submissions deemed valuable by the research council will be formally archived, with the contributor’s name recorded in perpetuity among our scholarly records. Recognized contributions will also receive appropriate reward, both in coin and renown. We believe that through collective effort, we may come to better understand the forces at work, and prepare accordingly.
End.
