- Automatic and AFK farms are not allowed.

- Islands and platforms built before the release of the updated guidelines 1st January 2026 have until March 1st, 2026, to integrate their islands into the landscape naturally via connection to the seafloor.

- Buildings that do not conform to our guidelines are subject to warning and if adequate changes are not made within an allotted period, the build may be subject to removal without additional consultation.
- Builds shared between multiple players belong to all players residing in the space.
- If any player leaves the TTRP discord they forfeit ownership rights to the shared building.
- If there is an instance where all players cannot agree on an outcome of their shared space, moderation can provide a moderated space for negotiations, if an agreement cannot be reached, moderation will make a final decision.
- Administration will only remove floating islands, farms, and water-builds. Administration is not expected to use world edit to clean an area, however Administration may depending on the situation.
- You may reach out to Moderation regarding inactive builds, only moderation can declare a build as inactive.
- If a build has been inactive for 90 days or more, administration may remove the building without consultation.
- Builds marked as inactive will be stored as a schematic for 30-60 days and can be pasted back upon request of the player, in an area of their choosing.
- Builds older than 200 days will not be stored as a schematic and are subject to permanent removal.

- This does not include housing supplied by the Faction/Nation. E.g. Temporary Housing.
- Any public builds declared as inactive will belong to the Faction/Nation. E.g. Library, Tavern, Café, Shops, Stalls.
- It is the responsibility of the Faction/Nation members to handle/remove their own inactive builds after receiving permission from moderation. In special cases administration can remove the build/s.
- Animals left behind at inactive build will be removed by moderation.
- Players can have their animals re-spawned by opening a ticket.
- Locked and unlocked containers within builds declared as inactive will be unlocked and items will be stored by moderation, without consultation.
- If there are locked and unlocked containers in an active build. Moderation will reach out to the player and store these only after receiving permission/no reply.
- Items will be stored by moderation for a period of 2-3 months.
- Players can check if they have stored items by contacting moderation via general support and providing their IGN.
- When unlocking a chest, players may not claim the contents unless receiving explicit permission from the owner of the chest.
- Explicit permission means stating the coords and providing a screenshot, so the owner understands exactly which container they're allowing you to claim.
- If a player leaves the TTRP discord the contents of their containers will be stored by moderation and their containers will be unlocked.

- Traps may only be as large as a 7x7 radius. Anything larger is not permitted.
- Breaking out of traps is permitted so long as there isn’t a feasible way to get out.
- There must be a way in and out of the trap.
- Traps are not allowed to be built into claimed land or the wilderness if they have the possibility of instantly killing someone.
- The only exception to this rule is if a trap is created specifically for a lore event. If so, the trap must be securely blocked off to prevent accidental encounters until the lore event is completed.
- Players must be able to get out of traps as easily as they may fall in them.
- If a trap is not in use, it is required to be covered up so that players may not accidentally fall in them while not in use.

- You can use the full version of Xaero's Minimap as we force disable entity & cave radar on the server-side (fairplay edition has not been updated to 1.21.8).

- Mods that automatically deposit, withdraw, or organize inventories—e.g., QuickStack.
- The use of cracked clients to allow yourself to join the Minecraft server is not permitted.
- A cracked account is an illegal copy of the game that the consumer did not pay for and therefore does not function properly on the server for whitelists or other server functions (e.g., TLauncher).
It is important to note that we do not recommend using cosmetics with third-party clients. If you wish to customize your character, we recommend purchasing TallTalesRP cosmetics or a custom TallTalesRP cosmetic, which allows you to work with our artists to create your cosmetic and directly support the server.
- Third-party clients may be used. This includes but is not limited to Lunar Client, Badlion Client, LabyMod, Feather Client, and any other third-party clients.
- We do not moderate the usage of private messaging via third-party clients.
- If you receive an unwanted private message from another player using the same third-party client, please do not report them - simply stop using the client or block the player.
- You may discuss and share screenshots of third-party clients, as well as any cosmetics you own.
