Log 1, 1433. ~ Following the events of tremors, The Adventurers Guild has sent me and a group of others to this outpost to record any Beasts found around the Volcano.

Log 2, 1433. ~ A few Beasts have been discovered, documented below are some that were found.

Ventwisps, annoying little things, they seem to fly in and dive bomb you before flying off. Seemingly made up of flames and wind. They seem to gang up on prey in groups. 

Magma Elementals seem to be like slimes, but more suited to their volcanic environment. Slow but determined, they pick a target and stay on track. Rather relentless they are.

Lavalotl’s seem to be more defensive, but that might be false, we’ve only been able to find one of these species in the Volcano at the current time. When calmed it seems to hand out little chunks of a strange coral that seems to have grown in the volcano itself.

Magma-bats are frightened beasts, scared of the tremors they seem to be trying to flee the volcano entirely. Scout Magnus has been gathering adventurers everyday to keep them in bounds. The magma the bats excrete seems to only hold the faint scent of what they've eaten, not feces or anything else, besides small clumps of shedded fur.
