Among the hundreds of poems, letters, and songs that you have written just for me, these words ring the truest I’m sure. 

You, a gentleman so chivalrous, brought me baskets upon baskets of flowers, doves, and sweets that ignited your eternal flame. Never before had my arms become full of one’s seemingly never ending love. My heart fluttered with every stroke of every letter of every word, through your endless poems that described just how much your heart burned to love me.

Pardon, did I get that right? Your heart burned to love me? Such a strange thing to say, I’d rather your heart not burn at all. 

Nevertheless, I hope my words reach the same as yours did so tenderly.

My dearest, betrayer,

You’ll find my quill rips through parchment, for the fire that envelops my body finds its way through ink.

The fire that once burned through your heart burns through mine, though while yours burns through love and lies, mine does through fury and anger. Anger that seeped through me in an instant and turned my cheek red as a crystal’s core, the very moment you handed your dirty poem to another, lips upon her lips. 

I feel it, too, my love. Not had I once before, but now I believe I do. A fire so intense that I must capture its essence in writing, providing an outlet for its fervor. Somewhere for it to burn and burn and burn. 

I’m burning it all. Every letter, every poem, every single word, lyric, and rhyme. Through the mighty Omin’s kiss of death does this paper alight so elegant and bright as the sun we worship.

Do not fret, my darling. Your love for your versus outshone your love for me, as I believe it will the next unfortunate soul your missives portray. So, I will not tell of your adultery to your new maiden, nor to your family. I will simply burn these words in such a way that I wish to burn not just your heart but your mind, body, and soul.

And then, when we meet again in Omin’s domain, as he delivers his righteous fist upon you, I will get to watch as you burn and burn and burn and burn and burn and…
